Did you know that you can donate what you grow??

Share the extra fruits, vegetables, herbs and greens from your garden!

Evanston Grows would love to help you get that wonderful produce from your garden to households that are dealing with food insecurity in our community. Meeting the demand for fresh, quality produce is a challenge so anything you can contribute is much appreciated!

You can drop off your fresh garden produce to several sites throughout the week, and it will get shared at the local food pantries and free FARM STAND.


Here’s how you can share your harvest:

*If possible, when donating produce, please fill out the following information

Fleetwood-Jourdain Community Center

Where: 1655 Foster Street (at the front desk)

When: Tuesdays from 4-6pm or Wednesdays between 8am & 1:30pm

Our crew will wash and bundle it to share with families at Evanston Grows’ popular Free Farm Stand which is 2:30-5:30 on Wednesdays! 

C & W Market and Ice Cream Parlor

Where: 1901 Church Street

When: Fridays 4 - 8pm is optimal, but they are happy to receive produce anytime, as folks come in requesting it throughout the week.

Our friends at C & W distribute food to 120 families weekly.

Where: Lot 1A along Dodge

When: October 1 and November 5; 11am-1pm

*Folks will be dropping off and picking up at these food drives
